Dr. Lee Collier

Lee is an intensive care doctor based in London, UK, specializing in neonatal intensive care transport with ground and air ambulance. During the peak of the Coronavirus pandemic in the UK, he worked at an emergency field hospital with a team providing intensive care to ventilated adults. Prior to entering medicine Lee studied Computer Systems Engineering and developed monitoring and control systems for satellite telecommunications.  Alongside clinical work, he has maintained a strong interest in medical informatics, healthcare logistics and clinical technology which has proven useful in the resource-limited context of intensive care transport and more recently in the search for practical solutions to the global fight against COVID-19. Lee lives just outside London with his GP wife and two daughters.

Curt Freeman

Curt spent over thirty years in medical device R&D for Hewlett-Packard Medical Products Group and Philips Healthcare, first as software engineer and then as a Systems Engineer. He has worked in multi-disciplinary teams bringing numerous Class II and Class III devices (bedside monitors, central stations, telemetry systems, diagnostic algorithms) and Class II products (advanced defibrillator monitors, AEDs, CPR assist devices). He now enjoys assisting companies with quality and regulatory matters associated with medical device development such as Design Controls, Risk Management, software process, usability, and CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
